#ZambeziSwim

IMG_2637

Louie Greeff will be attempting to swim the mighty Zambezi River for a second time in July this year. He is undergoing some serious training in preparation for this feat. If you happen to be at the Vaal Dam where most of his training is taking place you might see him on his river glider which he will be using.

Will be posting more updates at a later stage.

    • Its unfortunate regarding me having Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and having to postpone my challenge, but at least I have more time to train and give my sponsors time to align their marketing as well.

I’ve had my third treatment and also have some feeling back in my hands. Woohoo!
I’m healing quite quickly and most of the bruises are almost gone – and so is the pain! YAY!

  1. Got this yesterday!
    Hi Louie,

I work at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, our public broadcaster here in Canada (like the BBC). I’ve got a new radio show called Live Through This that will be broadcasting nationally starting in June. It’s a documentary-type show that tells stories about people who do things such as swim down the Zambezi.

I’m wondering if you might have a moment to speak with me over the phone?

    All the best,
    David

  4. On a different note. I’m looking for female and male dual rode riders/drivers for a reality TV series called Dirt Only No Tar (DONT). The name changed from African Bike Challenge to Xtreme Bike Challenge and now its called DONT. Interenational networks were not happy with the first two names. There’s a Facebook group titled: Dirt Only No Tar DONT Reality TV series. Please send me a friend request or join the group. Thank you.

  5. Due to certain factors beyond my control – had to postpone the trip. I have also changed the project to include other challengers – adventure seekers who will be joining me on this unique madcap adventure. Check out our Facebook page; “The Zambezi Challenge”

We will create another Twitter page pertaining to the swim.
